Singapore has conveyed concerns about US-China trade tensions to both countries: Vivian Balakrishnan
Speaking to reporters at a press conference at the conclusion of the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and related meetings, Dr Balakrishnan said that as Singapore says the same thing to both sides, both parties know that Singapore is “being transparent and honest”, and not playing games.

Both China and USA is our largest trading partner and one of our largest trading partner. In addition both are also our largest and one of our largest investment partner.
Singapore similarly invest heavily in both Countries as well as trade in large amount with both Countries.
Having say so, I don't see why Singapore cannot convey our concerns to both Countries - when both Countries are heading into a wrong confrontational path that not only hurt Singapore but the Global Economy.
You can stay silent or condemn our Government as por LP - but it make you stand out as ignorant noise maker that is not serving Singapore interest.
And pse refrain from using Buddha image as your icon - as Buddha never teach you to "bad mouth" - under the Precept of False Speech.
And Buddha teach all His disciples to 普渡众生 - 自度，度人。 Not 损人损己.
Oliver Weng - you are a disgrace as disciple of Buddha - because you are depicting all negative energy 负能量。
Buddha teaches all 正能量。(positive energy)
Go back to your Buddhist Master to learn proper Dharma. Else don't disgrace Buddha. What you say is hurting not only Singaporeans but also the World who are relying on Global Economy to survive and prosper.
So you call yourself doing good or doing bad? Yet you are trying to lend support from Buddha to support what you say? Buddha spend His entire life doing good - not what you are thinking, saying and doing that hurt others. Unless you can carry the high moral values of the Buddha, else don't misuse the Buddha image.
