why did singapore not say anything to refute the malaysian govts statements of denials whem Najib was in power?

Najib and the Malaysian govt has publicly announced Jho Low is not a wanted person in any jurisdiction, yet Singapore never revealed they have a warrant of arrest out for him for more than 2 years?

But now, the Singaporean authorities seems so quick to issue statements to refute the current malaysian govt.

Guess there goes your reputatiin on being a clean n transparent country

James Wang - You got to get the facts right before you make accusation.

Singapore had issued a formal request to Hong Kong for assistance in arresting Malaysian businessman Low Taek Jho in April 2016, but the request was rejected, the Singapore Police Force said on Wednesday afternoon (July 11).

In addition, Singapore also requested for the publication of an Interpol Red Notice against Low. An Interpol Red Notice is a request by a member country to locate and provisionally arrest a person based on a valid national arrest warrant.

"Following investigations, at Singapore's request, Interpol published Red Notices in October 2016 for both Low, as well as (close business associate) Tan Kim Loong, who are suspected to have committed offences in Singapore and cannot be located here," they said.

"All members of Interpol, including Malaysia, would have been aware of the Red Notices when they were published."

“Singapore’s request was declined,” a statement from the city state’s police force said.
Hong Kong authorities have yet to respond to the latest claims. The Department of Justice said it did not comment on individual cases.

On Tuesday, the gaming hub’s Judiciary Police confirmed that Interpol Macau, a subdivision of Interpol Beijing, had received “the request of the relevant country (Malaysia)” regarding Low, whom the Post revealed several days ago had slipped out of Hong Kong with his family and was hiding out in Macau.

In a brief statement, the Judiciary Police told the Macau News Agency on Tuesday that they were “verifying the content of the request”.

The latest twist in the scandal follows weeks of claim and counterclaim over the fugitive financier, his role in the 1MDB scandal and an international hunt to track him down and secure his arrest.

It has also sparked a war of words between the Macau authorities and their Malaysian counterparts, who have accused officials in the casino town of making “deeply regrettable’’ public statements about their pursuit of Low, according to reports in the Malaysian media.

James Wang -
Does Malaysia conduct your State of Affairs via media and social media?

If you want your jet or other assets of 1MDB back - go through the proper protocol.

Don't talk through the press.
