Eg. in US, France, India, Australia etc.
F15SG, F16C/D, Apache helicopter gunships, GulfStream 550 electronic & jamming, drones, Advanced Trainer jets etc --- are trained side by side with the advanced airforces - honing the skills in a full fledge air exercises.
Very proud to note that all our Air forces assets are combat ready, capable and lethal.

when i was younger and more clueless, i used to think all these air acrobatics was a waste of time and $. but now, i know.
it sets goals for the pilots to hone their skills which obviously is important for land target strikes and air dog fights. the logistics to org such an event set goals for the command post to hone their abilities. and its sabre rattling, which is sometimes necessary to show your neighbors your capabilities. sg can put up 29 ac for an airshow while malaysia just reported they only hv 4 operational sukhois.
i am msian, and an admirer of sg leaders.
sg is an oasis of meritocracy and an utopia for diversity .. sandwiched in a region stinking of chauvinism of malay/indon, islam and bahasa. you are the beacon of reason and hope for our minorities, and progressive malays. the brighter you shine, the more of an anti-testimony you are to our political elites who are mostly self serving, and wld not hesitate to play the racial card even if it inflames their countries.
you need to be rich and strong because the chauvinists here cant wait to annex you. sorry, but your young has to think of the nation first. having grown up with chauvinism, really, we can tell you, your political ideals and what you already are is precious and worth dying for.
