North Korean leader Kim Jong Un discussed a possible summit with envoys from the South's President Moon Jae-in, both sides said Tuesday (Mar 6), in the latest step of an Olympics-driven rapprochement on the divided peninsula.

Before leaving for Pyongyang, the South's national security advisor Chung Eui-yong said: "We plan to hold in-depth discussions for ways to continue not only inter-Korean talks but dialogue between North Korea and the international community including the United States."

This development is by far the most positive so far.
Let hope the dialogue can lead to more acceptable solutions for both and lead to eventual peace in the Korean Peninsula.
Various avenue of talks can be explored and tried out such as :-
(1) S Korea provide a bridge between N Korea and US.
(2) S Korea provide a bridge via UN.
(3) S Korea provide a bridge organising a 6 party talk like US, China, Japan, Russia, S Korea with N Korea.

or other possible options that can help to achieve a breakthrough.

Meanwhile it is important for both Koreas not to embark on events that can sour such buildup of talks that can achieve a breakthrough.
