Before leaving for Pyongyang, the South's national security advisor Chung Eui-yong said: "We plan to hold in-depth discussions for ways to continue not only inter-Korean talks but dialogue between North Korea and the international community including the United States."

Given the possibility that Trump administration competency of handling Korean nuclear crisis diplomatically is highly suspected --- there maybe a need to change tack to resolve this Korean nuclear crisis :-
(1) S Korea lead the diplomatic talk as chair - to bridge the talk between US and N Korea.
But looking at how Mike Pence react to N Korea Kim's sister and how Ivanka react to the Kim gemeral who bring along english translator ---- US is highly suspected of incapable to do a diplomatic talk.
(2) Call a 6 party talk - with S Korea, China, Japan, Russia, US with N Korea.
(3) Request UN Chief to arbitrate the talk = between S Korea, US with N Korea.
I think this may have helped to expedite the talk to diffuse the Korean Peninsula nuclear crisis.
I think the World should not leave it entirely to US to lead this Korean talk --- where Global security fear is too grave for the World - when US look highly incompetent to lead this talk especially when N Korea for the 1st time is willing to talk.

"We will deliver President Moon Jae-in's wish to bring about denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula and permanent peace by extending the goodwill and better inter-Korean relations created by the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics," Chung said in South Korea before the delegation's departure.
The delegation hopes to speak to North Korean officials on starting dialogue between the North and the United States as well as other countries, the delegation leader said.

While Suh was widely expected to go, the selection of Chung as leader of the delegation was a "last-minute" decision made with an eye on convincing the United States to buy into the negotiations that South Korea hopes to initiate, officials said.
"The delegation is meant to bring some kind of outcome with which to persuade the United States", a senior official with Moon's party told Reuters.
