Kim offered to "discuss denuclearisation with the United States..." ?? What garbage !!

Kim NEVER make such offer ! This is fake news.

Moon' envoy ...reported back ...saying Kim would not talk with anyone.,..including South Korea or USA about denuclearization....

BUT Kim is prepared to talk with the USA about giving up his nuclear programmes (future program to conduct test on nuke bombs and ICBMs.)..and in return about normalization of ties with S Korea and the USA.

In his meeting with the South's delegation, Kim referred to denuclearisation as the dying wish of the previous North Korean leaders - his grandfather Kim Il Sung and father Kim Jong Il - according to Seoul officials.

Kim is completely right that having nuclear will not be a blessing for many reasons:-
(1) Russia Chernobyl nuclear plant leak
(2) US reported more than 150 incidents from 2001 to 2006 of nuclear plants not performing within acceptable safety guidelines. According to a 2010 survey of energy accidents, there have been at least 56 accidents at nuclear reactors in the United States.
(3) China is not keeping a large nuclear arsenal - precisely they know the danger of keeping nuclear.
(4) Japan Fukushima nuclear plant leak has caused untold nuclear contamination that has not ceased after more than a decade.

N Korea itself experience a landslide after a nuclear underground test and nuclear contamination of air, ground and water.

So if talk can guarantee security assurance, economic development and lifting of economic sanctions - N Korea forgoing nuclear is a wise move.

It is very obvious that by going nuclear - many negative developments is now experienced by N Korea - notably the biting economic sanctions and the isolation.

So if N Korea is able to talk and negotiate a good deal - discarding the nuclear is a wise move - so that N Korea can join many other Countries and prosper economically - without inviting unnecessary negative attraction.
