That was during Dr Mahatair time - when he declare Clobs illegal.
Hope this time safeguard are put in place to prevent similar occurence from happening again.

Ricky Lim - Mahathir is now talking nonsense these days... he ever made an offensive statement about Jews, called Bugis as Pirates, address in his rally calling Indians as "Keling" (a degoratory term) and also accuse Malays as dishonest. I think these racist statements are not even true and absolutely innapropriate for a former PM. Maybe age has caught up with him, or he is really immoral. Last time opposition in Malaysia promised voters they will arrest Mahathir if they win the 2013 elections , but now promised the voters they will put Mahathir as Prime Minister if they win the 2018 elections. of course naturally people are angry. many opposition are going to boycott their vote or vote BN to punish the opposition for misleading them all these years...
