UN rights chief slams Indonesia proposal to outlaw gay, extramarital sex

The United Nations human rights chief on Wednesday criticised proposals in Indonesia's parliament to criminalize gay sex and extramarital sex, saying such laws could hurt the country's beleaguered LGBT community and other minorities.

Jasveer Jurrah - Thus important for lawmaker not to fuel "intolerance" for being a "moral police" using the hard approach of law.
Radicals will be embolden to cause more havoc.

But instead use soft approach like education, teachings, counselling, coaching.
