Not very practical for examples :-
(1) Husband with wife - does husband need to leave his wife in female cabin - and then both got lost when disembarked.
(2) Father with daughter & vice versa - does father need to leave his daughter in female cabin - and then both got lost when disembarked.
(3) Group of friends (male & female) - does males need to leave his female friends in female cabin - and then both groups got lost when disembarked.
(4) Mother with son - does son need to leave his mother in female cabin - and then both got lost when disembarked.

A family pf father, mother, son and daughter - have to split to male only and female only cabin.
Then when disembarked, the MRT station master will be very busy broadcasting - to find lost relatives, lost friends and lost families.

And if the train in female cabin is packed, but vacant in other cabin, female cannot take the MRT?
And if the train in other cabin is full, but vacant in female cabin, male cannot take the MRT?

Also wonder if MRT have female cabin, will the public demand a female-only lift, female-only bus ---- doesn't make sense.

In a crowded platform, it is expected the crowd to clear the platform quickly.
If alot of men is expected to look for his companion and vice versa, then the mrt platform will be chaotic especially if the platform is crowded during peak hours.

Once "women only" cabin is implemented - a "stigma" is imposed on the Society - and male in Singapore is viewed as not trustworthy or a "pervert" that cannot be trusted in the public and female must be protected from the male.
This is not an inclusive Society. Moreover, vast majority of the male in Singapore are not perverts.
Moreover the law against molesters are stringent and in a crowded MRT, if molest ever take place, the molesters can be arrested and punish. So is there a need for such drastic measure?
And also if there are family cabin, why need a "female only" cabin?
