FBI iPhone solution may not necessarily crack other cases

The FBI's discovery of a way to hack into the phone of 1 of the San Bernardino killers may not be the master key that allows prosecutors across the country to unlock iPhones in hundreds of more ordinary criminal cases

The deadlock come down to 2 crunches :-

(1) Apple want to protect its business interest - to be able sell its iPhone that is secured - so that customers will buy its iPhone.

(2) FBI and Law Enforcement Agencies want to be able to access the phone of criminals and terrorists - so as to crack criminal cases and bring justice to victims.

Both a legitimate interests :-
(1) Apple - business interest
(2) FBI - national interest, security interest

But can't that be a compromise?

For national and security interest - can't Apple compromise to help?

Or it is just a charade to both :-
(1) safeguard business interest
(2) to protect national and security interest.
