To ensure Singaporean core workers, the following policies are beneficial :-
(1) Levy increases for work permit holders, as well as S pass holders in every sector - will discourage employers from engaging foreigners and will encourage them to employ more Singaporeans as core workers.

(2) Provide employers with a wage offset for workers aged 55 and above earning up to $4,000 a month - will entice employers to employ 55 years and above workers --- but for Singaporean workers who are 40 - 54 years old ---- still cannot see the light of the tunnel.

(3) PMET - “Adapt and Grow” initiative, commiting an additional $35 million from the Lifelong Learning Endowment Fund and Skills Development Fund - will help PMETs who need to re-skill. But will not benefit those PMETs skills who are still relevant.

Now everyone know money is so important.

But some people don't know - can even propose $2 billion for MRT to skirt around the natural reserves - thinking that money grow from trees, fell from sky or dig from the ground.

$2 billion can fund so many programme.
