Why is there a need to approve more work permits?

Bosses should tap the resources of experienced mature PMETs who are looking for jobs - instead of asking for more approval of work permits.

The headline should read :-
"The Budget should address how the jobless matured PMETs be tapped as resources to tackle the manpower issue faced by the organisations in Singapore."
