Peace is not a given is indeed true.

For East Europe hotspot is one of the most dangerous hotspot - that if escalate will be dire conequences not only in Europe and Russia - but may cross continent and lead into a WW3.

If Ukraine can forged a lasting peace based on the latest Peace Deal - then peace can be possible in Europe and Russia. But if the Peace Deal is not honoured - and again flare up - it will be a high price to pay, whether economically, politically and militarily.

Just be reminded the following :-

Earth is going through a period of :-
生，住，劫，空

(birth, living, disaster, emptiness) - Dharma-Blossom Age, Dharma Maintenance Age, Dharma-Ending Age, Dharma-Emptiness Age).

We are entering into the period of 劫 - the Dharma-Ending Age (having passed through Dharma-Blossom Age, Dharma Maintenance Age).

Thus, honor Peace deal & forsake confrontation.
