USA, Russia, India, China & many European countries which are so much bigger than this tiny red dot city state of Singapore do not care about climate change. Our Southern neighbour Indoesia, clear forests by slashing & burning pulluting tie atmospher, what can Singapore do? NOTHING!. What can this Malay Singaporean MinsiterA Masagoes do? At most he is trying to convince Singaporeans to vote him into Parliment again. Do you think President Donald Trump, Presidents of Russia and China and other European Countries care what his 'talk, talk and talk!' Not one of thise presidents cares.

Every Singaporean has a lifespan of 80 and slightly above, wheter Singaporeans live to this age or beyound will need to die. so WHY WORRY, BE HAPPY. LIVE DAY TO DAY. ALSO EVERY HUMAN SINCE THE DAY ONE IS BORN, ONE HAS TO DIE; ITS EARLY OR LATE. There is no escape of death. Be Happy. Ding dong!!!! Be Happy.

ChicKerdi Ling -
(1) Singapore need to have long term vision and proactive in protecting our island from Global Climate.

(2) Eg. if sea level rise - Singapore can go under.
We will then need to build dykes, wall, sea barrier or elevate our coastline - high enough to prevent sea water from flooding our land.

(3) Eg. if the rain fall is torrential and overwhelm our drainage system - Singapore will experience flood - and we need to predict the volume of rainfall and build drainage system - deep enough and large enough to drain off the rainfall - so that Singapore will not experience flood.

(4) If we stay complacent or do nothing now - Singapore will go underneath the sea - and all will perish.
