There are collateral damages to US companies as well from Trump's trade move.

(1) Qualcomm supplied more than half of chipset sold to ZTE.
(2) Microsoft Corp provide software
(3) Intel Corp provide some components
(4) Acacia Communications Inc provide optical networking equipment
(5) Lumentum Holdings Inc
(6) Finisar Corp
(7) Oclaro Inc All these
US companies are badly hit by Trump trade move.
Qualcomm is the worst hit - and likely to retrench American workers.

If China learn from this trade war - and determine and successful to make its own chips or succeeded in buying other semicon chips from some other sources ---- Trump trade war will cause US business to lose US$11billion from this saga ---- and China customers will never come back.

Huawei has already succeeded in making all its semicon chips.
Huawei is also the most advanced in 5G chips - that surpass the US Qualcomm 5G chips.

So Trump may make a very serious strategic trade move --- that may cause substantial damages to US tech industries as well as hurting its business and jobs.
