The commitment given by Russia below to implement the Geneva Agreement – will be good to defuse tension.

“Lavrov said Moscow was committed to implementing an agreement struck in Geneva on April 17 between Ukraine, Russia, the United States and the European Union to ease tensions in Ukraine and disarm illegal groups

The Defence Ministry said it was ready for "unbiased and constructive" talks with the United States to stabilise the situation.”

Let’s hope that constructive development is happening on the ground – similar to what has happen in Syria chemical weapons event.
The objective is not to have personnel casualties and death on the ground – to either sides.

Actually, Germany’s suggestion is worth considering :-

“German foreign minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier meanwhile suggested that the United States, the EU and Russia should make a joint high-level trip to hotspots in Ukraine with local officials to signal political backing for the Geneva agreement.”

Nothing is more important to prevent the clash of the 2 Blocs - that have the military arsenals to wipe out the whole Human Race and the Whole World.

It is all the more important for Leaders of the 2 Blocs to move constructively as agreed in the Geneva Agreement.

One day when everyone look back, will discover how close the Human Race would have ended if not because of the Wisdom and Level-Headed decision that have been taken today to avoid the clashes by implementing the Geneva Agreement.
