The chances of major flare up in the East Europe hotspot have become more and more likely.

Sparking a major regional war that quickly turn ugly are likely as both sides are not pulling back punches and are more hard-headed in using forces to resolve issues.

Asia Pacific hotspot though more complex, more disputes are largely more restrained as the stake are very high as Economy wise (it is a booming area) and Economic interests are very interwined. Asians are also more reserved and tend to take many things into consideration before resorting to forces and there are more to lose if a major confrontation takes place.

Middle East hotspot will not hold back punches and will shoot first but luckily unlikely to spark a big war. Also there are sign of weariness of war conflict and there are more softening stance to resolve issues through diplomatic means.

Now the East Europe can be a big flash that spark off a big explosion if both sides are not careful in resolving the Ukraine crisis.

Also in this hotspot, there is a virtual invisible land DMZ separating the 2 virtual blocs - and the Ukraine crisis are bringing this virtual DMZ up onto the surface ----- and it smell bad .......
