One way to prevent future ferry sinking and Titanic
sinking - is not have many small raft, but one big secondary ship that sail and
tow by the main ship - sufficient to take all the passengers of the main ship.
If the main ship capsized or sink, all passengers can board the secondary ship and then released by automatic catch until rescue ships arrived and then towed the secondary ships back to safety.
So no need for many small safety rafts.
