drugs is a very serious offence – as it destroy the lives of many people and
their families.
This
drug courier is lucky to spared death by being repented and cooperate in
providing information about the backend drug lords.
But
now challenging the caning sentence – shows that he has not repented. He should
be duly caned for not genuinely repented.

Muslims are guaranteed to take control of any society they enter. If they can't they will terrorize until they dominate.
It is natural for the Burmese to fear a similar future for Buddhism in Burma. But I think they are fighting a losing battle. By the 24th century, all that remains of Buddhism in Burma will be some ancient stupas that Muslim radicals are calling to demolish.

as Human possess the Human body and felt the vulnerabilities of death and
sufferings - Human natural defence mechanisim will sets in.
Thus Human
body is known as "a pile of garbage" - that can either hinder or help a person
in attaining Enlightenment.
An unEnlightened Human will act to defend
himself - some in wholesome ways, but others in unwholesome ways. For those who
act in wholesome ways - will inherit good karma. For those who act in
unwholesome ways - will inherit bad karma.
An Enlightened Human will act
in wholesome ways - and will not react to adversary acts as they can forsee
Universal Law of Karma or Heavenly Justice or Human Law will come into effect.

Both sides should take constructive actions to de-escalate tensions on the ground and cool temperature – so that positive approach can be take to move forward.

Nothing is
more important to prevent the clash of the 2 Blocs - that have the military
arsenals to wipe out the whole Human Race and the Whole World.

(2) East Europe Ukraine crisis – the only way to ensure the hotspot will not blown out of proportion – is to honour the Peace Deal to defuse the tension. Make no mistake – it can turn very very ugly – bearing in mind the historical lesson of World War 1 and World War 2 ---- this is how the World War started.
A 3rd World War will mean end of the World.
(3) Middle East hotspot – WHO need to determine HOW to contain the Mers. Also the coming Haj, need to be very prudent – to prevent the spread all over the World.
Israel-Palestine Peace deal & Syria conflict – already say window opportunity when come must grasp and settle. Once you miss the window opportunity – very tough unless both dispute parties are really serious to compromise and move forward.
I already said – the World situation smell bad --- and all the intuitions all come true – which smell bad …………………
Only if Human Mankind adopt constructive steps to move towards the right direction, Human Mankind can continue to dwell in the Earth else it will be a destructive path and Human Mankind can chant :-

Look like the intuition of Mers getting more and more
serious are coming true. It is a blessing that 2013, no case is reported during
Haj.
But for this round may not be so lucky, infection and spreading could be serious
if people all over the World start to congregate.
WHO needs to come in to determine HOW to :-
(1) Find the real source of Mers – that is, is it from camels or bats or other source.
For eg. If from camels, is the camel farm seal and
quarantined and eradication of virus take place like how chicken farm are being
done to eradicate the H7N5?
Also, is the infected camels served as food and infect the diners?
If from bats, then is the cave or dwelling areas for bats
are sealed and quarantine and eradication of virus conducted?
If not from camels and bats – then need to find the real
source.
(2) More radical control and quarantine put in place to ensure
visitors all properly checked, contacts are traced and when foreign visitors returned
home – checked and quarantine to ensure no Mers infection – before rejoining the
society.

Good to see other avenue to ensure continuous communication
and dialogue to repair tense relationship.
Step-by-step to unravel the knots is a good way to defuse
tension. Hopefully one day, there will be breakthrough in coming to a solution
acceptable by both to resolve the territorial dispute.
