The Minister is trying his best to protect our Sovereignty and National Interest with the ongoing discussion with Malaysia.

But appalled to note that there are some unkind Singaporeans making unkind statement against our Minister when he is unfortunate to meet with an accident.

Human sometimes can be vicious at heart.

Nobody here wanted him to go. We could have sent Zoe there and get the job done in 2 days.

Jack Sparroww - you seems to know how the Government operate better than our Prime Minister.

You not Transport Minister - you know how our air space and port limit operate - before making such comments?

Ricky Lim You're only good at putting words in my mouth. Tell me when did I said I'm good? You're just naive and inflexible at thinking how the world revolves, thinking must know airspace and this and that. Trump knows nothing but he will get more things done in 1 term than your white bosses in 20 years.

The comments from OPPIES will come as "Chute Pattern", "Keng MC", ........ to avoid commitments and being finger pointed........ Vivian would mumble "Shit! Why you "Sabo" me....."

There is this thing called medical insurance. A lot of ordinary people get covered everything and is free for each admission. Any surprises?

Lau Lan Chu.... Just called medical insurance???? You have forgotten, you MUST pay for the deductibles amount of $2000 for B2 class and $3000 for A2 class before you can make any claims from insurance (MediShield Life)....

Tan Kwong Moh Yes, civil servants on very old CSO scheme are cover 85% of their hospitalisation bills and probably medishield could foot the rest of the bill.

Lau Lan Chu Very surprised. You must be referring to medical insurance exclusive to PAP with 0% deductible.

If a commoner goes on such extended leave after fracturing his non functional left arm, he would probably lose his job in due course.

Let this be a precedent also for our foreign workers. Doctors must give them their due medical or hospitalization leave, and not deliberately help employers to ensure no reporting to MOM is required. All doctors must have the conscience to serve patients, and not their corporate clients.

Whonsolved your SARS problem, who solved your ever rising uncontrollable property price issue? I really believe if not because of proper property mkt measures in place, SG is just another HK, all the corrupted and notorius hot monies will just flown in and pushed the local to the corner. What is HK left? Only concentration camp.

Don't worry, Mr Khaw bought alot of good insurance to cover his medical costs. Last time heart surgery only $8. Arm fractured is likely to be free. Also, he works very hard and have alot of CPF and Medisave to see him through this "difficult" and "challenging" time.

The usual jebaited tactic from CNA. Headline could simply be '''Khaw Boon Wan fractured arm due to fall" but it specifically added "extended medical leave" for you guys to come read and complain.
