No Government in the World can claim that their system is perfect, there are no problem in their Country and all their people are gainfully employed with no low income people.
Singapore cannot claim our system is perfect but at least we are not doing too badly though there are still some people who lose their jobs and some who belong to the lower income people still struggling to cope with the cost of living.
But at least we know that in Singapore:-
(1) The incumbent Government are clean and non-corrupt.
(2) There are no discrimination policies that favor a particular race.
(3) There are honest attempt to tackle unemployment problem - affected by disruptive tech, headwind in trade war, foreign competition.
(4) There are genuine effort to help the needy, lower income and middle income people - such as VERs for housing, CHAS for healthcare, bursaries for education, multilateral trade deals to help the business and create jobs, career assistance by WDA to help unemployed to find jobs etc.etc.
Though there are some unhappiness about rising public cost.
But we must not let some misgiven individuals who have ulterior motive to destroy our Country by using unscrupulous means.
Singaporeans must be on guard and watchful for such attempts --- because ultimately it is all Singaporeans that will suffer - if attempt to sabo us succeeded.

I really think Dr Thum and fellow activitists 's action is not the best interest of Singapore at all. It is an action of a man that shows our loyalty to our nation Singapore. i believe many fellow SGs already make up our mind what their action where their hearts lie, through their actions and words in their facebook. I feel annoy. Should we consider their distasteful action as childish or disregardless of our people's feeling ?
