A day after his meeting with Dr Mahathir, Dr Thum posted on Facebook saying he had asked the Malaysian leader to take a leading role in promoting democracy and freedom of expression in Southeast Asia.
Mr Shanmugam said: "I think it’s quite clear what that means."

And these Dr M plus these few misgiving Singaporeans - who want to organise events to export Dr M's "beacon of democracy" to all SE Asian Government --- ie. to overtly subvert the SE Asian Government.

And are you all supporting their actions?

Christopher Bong, Lynn Lee - This is not about siege mentality, not about history lesson nor is it about political party.

It is about endangering Singapore Sovereignty as a Nation and about compromising Singapore's interest - ie. every Singaporean's interest.

It is all about the following simple fact :-
(1) Dr M - has no good intention about Singapore nor do he want Singapore to do well.
a. He keep harping about revising water prices - that is enshrine in agreement that he cannot do so.

(2) Dr M - want to U turn all international sign agreement - such as HSR that will cause us to incur loss.

(3) Dr M - want to propose a new link to Pulau Ubin - with no economic values to us - but cause us to incur unnecessary expenses.

(4) Dr M - has say that Singapore should emulate him to overturn the Government.

(5) In the past, Dr M - has threaten to cut our water supply and many unhappy events that threaten our survival and well beings.

And all these misgiving Singaporeans - are trying to say that "Singapore is part of Malaysia" --- which in effect give this Dr M bullets to bring harm to Singapore, Singaporeans and Singaporean interests.

Based on your comments plus some in this board supporting both Dr M and these few Singaporeans actions --- are you supporting what they are doing to harm Singapore and Singaporean's interests ?

Singaporeans must have forgotten :-
(1) This Dr M levy RM$100,000 on all Singaporean after buying houses in Malaysia - causing many Singaporeans who invest in Malaysia got burn a big hole.

(2) This Dr M has clamp down on Clob - that cause many Singaporean buying Malaysian shares in Clob suffer loss.

(3) This Dr M say Singaporeans are drinking urine, sewage water, faeces water - when we invented Newater - to prevent Singaporeans from dying without clean water.

(4) This Dr M instigate Malaysian supporters to "cut water to Singapore" and "attack us" - chanting and causing unrest.

There are alot more unhappy incidents - too many list it all down.

And I am surprise that some Singaporeans in this board is actively encouraging the few misgiven Singaporeans' efforts and supporting this Dr M --- to cause harm to Singapore.

Very strange on how the thinkings of these Singaporeans --- you want Dr M to tekan us is it?

Kelvin Ho - This intent is understood.
As we interact with their Cabinet Ministers - we need to size up the situation and stay objective and clear about our positions and their positions.

We can sense whether they are sincere or not.
If the intent is clear and sincere - and have win-win outcome with mutual benefit - we should not hold back.

Eg. are the ASEAN Economic meeting, RCEP, Joint Maritime exercise.

But anything that harm our interest, we need to be on our guard - and ensure that our interest are safeguarded and not compromised.

By meeting these "Singaporean"; some of whom is from Malaysia and do nothing, Dr M is happy to eat popcorn and see the shit in Singapore. While we have different view on our politic, we do not need foreigner to interfere. LKY once said "Anyone can pick a fight with you". As per wiki there was this Taiwanese official Vanessa that try to engage chen show mao of WP and LKY send her packing. Dr M and Vanessa (Taiwan) are the same, stirring shit and interfere with our internal affair. Singapore position is to support one China policy and Singapore is not part of Malaysia. Our leadership need to be firm and strong else some foreign power will tear it apart. On the flip side, should Johor be independent, Singapore should work with them closely as they are really our closest neighour and their King love his people.

The minister, one who wields the biggest sledgehammer in the court room, is no ordinary citizen. You would expect him to understand that the wife who has been mercilessly stoned senseless by a domineering husband has every right to seek help for her protection/freedom as well in defense, right?

Instead, he exerts his right to stone the unfaithful wife( those who lost faith in their masters) and expect of her to remain submissive or faithful ( not allowed by law to seek help from another authority or power)

Read the good book, sir. The writing is on the ground(all over the world). And the wife should go and ?

Are you a Malaysian or Singaporean.

If you are a Singaporean - very suspicious of your motive - to sell out Singapore?

And I presume you support Dr M for harming Singaporeans :-
1. Increase our water price, cut our water supply.
2. Cancel HSR and refuse to compensate our loss.
3. Force Singaporeans to pay RM$100,000 for owning a house in Malaysia.
4. Clam down on our Clob and make Singaporeans lose alot of money in owning Malaysian shares.

5. Attack Singapore.

- Now you say this is speaking out for Singapore and Singaporeans.

Malaysia is now full of failing examples - there is nothing for Singapore to emulate or for other South East Asian Countries to emulate.

In fact this poor Dr M have to go to Indonesia, Japan and China to beg for help in building a car industry for Malaysia.

Got 28 fighter planes that cannot fly - only 4 can fly but don't know can fight or not.
Submarines cannot sail.
Debt, scandals all over the place - and have to beg China and Singapore to have mercy to cancel or defer big projects - because no money.

What are things that Singaporeans can learn from Dr M - probably his failed policies :-
(1) One day he champion the Bumiputra rights - now he say Malays should work hard and not depends on Bumiputra rights --- so he admit his past policy has failed.

(2) Last time, he say Anwar commit sodomy crime - now he say he is wrong and try to achieve a full pardon for Anwar.

(3) Last time, he build up Proton car industry - but it fail and need to sell to China Geely. Now he say he needs help from Japan, Indonesia and China to help him to build Proton 2. Only China Geely entertain him - but Geely will position Proton to lower end car buyers - but not in Malaysia.

(4) Last time, he say education must focus on malay language and no English - now he say he was wrong and all Police must learn English language to be able to communicate with the World.

(5) Last time, he instigate that Malay is the race that is home to Malaysia - and the rest of the race come from abroad. Now he say it is wrong - and all races deserved the same right.

It seems like Dr M is a Great "Roti Prata flip flop king" ---- this is what Singaporeans can learn from this wise Dr M in politics --- the politics of failure and the politics of roti prata flip flop.

And those misgiven Singaporeans - are wagging their tails in front of this "roti prata flip flop king" - to be the "beacon of SE Asia" --- to learn from Dr M how to "roti prata" and "flip flop" ---- what a joke of the century.

This said event ...Dr M to speak at a democracy conference next year.....to "bring democracy to Singapore and...SouthEast Asia"...can go ahead without the SG relevant authority permit to hold such event? (I Dont know if Dr M will be comming though invited; he likes doing the U-Turn!).

The SgPolice...the 2nd Gen PAP (gov) have one whole year to plan for the imminent arrests of these said 5 (sporeans??) under ISA; (put them in jail and throw away the key!) if this event takes place.
