Johor crown prince thanks Singapore for help during drought seasons

 (Updated: )
Ricky Lim
The crown prince of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, on Thursday night (Jun 28) thanked Singapore for helping the state during its drought seasons.

"Thank you to the Singaporean Government for helping Johor during the drought seasons and when we had our water crisis," he said in a post on the Facebook and Twitter pages of the Johor Southern Tigers, the football club he owns.

Describing Singapore as a "neighbour and a friend" in a separate Twitter post, the crown prince said that "we have always helped each other".

"May the close ties and friendship forged hundreds of years ago last forever," he added.
--
Singapore value the relationship with Johore and Malaysia - one of its close neighbors and as mentioned by the Crown Prince = "May the close ties and friendship forged hundreds of years ago last forever".

Singapore foreign policy is :-
"Friends with All.
Adversaries with None.
Forge mutual benefits and win-win outcome".

Singapore will carry out its obligation of the Water Agreement professionally and will help Johore and Malaysia whatever we can in time of need.

This Crown Prince is very grateful. So is his father. In fact we have been very close friends since his grand dad days. Even now we are still invited to their Hari Raya function. This is what we call good neighbours and we should help each other should the need arise.

Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim manifest wisdom, gratitude and friendship, unlike Dr M, who seriously lack or have none of them.

As long as M is around, SG will always be a punching bag to him. He thought SG owe him a living. Very fortunate that Johor has a good Crown Prince and Sultan. Johor and SG can always be good partner.

This is the highest merit on humanity n universal understanding between two countries based on legal binding. Please have no personal agenda to put the citizens of both countries to suffer innocently . Long live the Johore Royalties .

Malaysians are good people...the Crown Prince is one of the best.

Like most society... Malaysian politicians by and large are also good people...except for a few ugly ones...who for their selfish interests...want to bring us down..want to attack us...refused to honour the solemn contract made by previous good Malaysian leaders with Singapore leaders long ago.

However... Good Malaysian royalty and Good Johore leaders always stand out like a shining light...to expose the ugly ones ..by their wisdom, displaying their dignified sincere friendship with Singapore.

Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim..the people of Singapore THANK YOU.

The Crown Prince is indeed a very wise person. Instead of directly telling Dr.M of to shut-up, he is indirectly telling him that ...water supply is a very important for the survival of the people in Johore as well as Singapore and for both countries to survive in times of need we have to co-operatie with one another.

Yes. Agreed. Sultan of Johore can be the King of Singapore / Johore as the head of the country . Singapore can eliminate the President position.

Johor Royal Family while powerful, and is alsowise. They very well know that Johor will be the state most affected by any unfavourable changes to the existing Water Agreement. Hopefully, the Johor Sultan will use his wisdom and executive power to prevent such Dr.M acts from happening.

Singapore is ever ready to help Johore anytime. We are close neighbor. The young people of Singapore must foster good people relationship with our friends across the causeway treating them with decorum and humbleness.
If our relationship with one another is strong we will not have to be afraid of the old Ninty two serpent trying his very best to sow discord and venom to instigate contention and animosity.
Fortunately the old serpent lost track of time and think the new generation still harbour repugnance, he got a nasty surprise from a young handsome prince. The poison from his fang don't seem to be as potent as before. Nonetheless we still have to watch out for him.

Actually it is also not mahathir to blame lah....We don't speculate and must consider into many other things.
Actually it's our govt to blame
They are so greedy even to their own ppl. Actually they keep on saying that all things have been subsidized by them but things are still very very expensive.
Maybe Malaysia sell us very low price for raw waters and in the end we sell it back maybe many many times. If you are mahathir, will you be angry.
They treat the citizens the same thing.
