"Security is the biggest component"...Polices, CIDs etc are all civil servant and it part of their job to be activated...don't tell me paying OT? Even if engaging security agents you also no need so much!

No they didnt pay OT to police. They pay to those normal men who hv to be called back for reservist despite many going to celebrate hari raya. Most regular officers being called down sacrifice their off day too.

Jet fighters, Apache gunships, naval aircrafts, many vehicles, drones etc are activated - that will need special maintenance, armaments, petrol, etc - and all these need money to operate.

Paying reservists for absence from jobs are also costly.

Deploying special equipments etc are also cost.

Activating private contractors to install special equipment also invite cost.
