Digital Economy - that encompass e-payment, digital signature, e-form, e-transaction, e-commerce - will bring about :-
(1) less paper transaction - help to save paper wastage
(2) digital online transaction - help to save time, transport, over-the-counter transaction - that lead to efficiency and cost effectiveness
(3) online, real time transaction - immediate transaction when online is completed - less delay
(4) cross physical boundary - can effect overseas transaction
--- all these will boost productivity, cost saving - will boost Government coffer, more savings, less pressure for higher taxes.
