Look like when a new model of fighter plane is developed, it need lenghty field tests - in various aspects - like solo flight, flight in squadron formation, dogfight, out-of-vision fight, long-range fight, intense battle sorties, air-to-air combat, air-to-ground combat, air-to-ship combat, pilot eject etc. - before it can be ascertained its operational capability.

Look like we make a right choice to procure the F15-SG as the next-generation fighters - as F35 is still a long way to go as a combat-proven next-generation fighters.

Another concern will be the weapon load and weapon capability vis-a-vis proven combat track record fighter planes.
