Make this UN broker Syria Peace negotiation - a platform to strive for long-term peace.
The power brokers of the respective factional groups - should muscle in to make it happen - as these factional groups are dependent on the financial support and arm support.

The power brokers will be the biggest losers - if the peace deal break apart.
(1) Need to spend more money to finance the war - and the oil price keep going down - and there is limit to continue pouring money and burning money in the endless war ---- to fight how many more years.
(2) More people will die - and will run out of foot soldiers to fight and support the power brokers' objectives. Thus must as well settle for peace.
(3) More refugees if fight continue endlessly without the end of a tunnel - and Middle East Countries as well as Europe will be flooded with refugees causing social problems to the respective Countries.
(4) ISIS daesh will have a field time - bomb here, bome there, shoot here, shoot there --- 1stly in Middle East, 2ndly in the West, Russia and then the rest of the World.
So it is everyone's interest to strike a peace deal and force the peace deal if necessary ---- otherwise no support, no fund, no redevelopment, no ammo, no logistics --- still want to fight or not?

GENEVA: Syria's main opposition group said it would meet with the U.N.'s special envoy Staffan de Mistura later on Monday after he gave them a "positive response" and they received assurances from international backers on humanitarian issues.
"We have come to Geneva to seek relief for our people by insisting U.N. Security Council resolution 2254 is implemented, which means humanitarian relief, the lifting of sieges, and the end of attacks on civilians," said Spokesman Salim al-Muslat.
"We are intensifying our efforts to ensure that action is taken to end the suffering in Syria."
The opposition was considering a proposal from De Mistura that could pave the way to the delegation pressing ahead with talks after holding their first meeting with him on Sunday, a Western diplomatic source said.
The meeting is scheduled for 1700 (1600 GMT).
