Wonder if live chickens are send to
factories for handling and not let consumers buy live chickens directly, then
the chances of infections will be lower.
That is, the surface area of contact
become smaller, points of entry and exit become smaller and professional
handling of live poultries will have a higher standard of care and hygiene.
This will reduce virus infections
from live poultry.
Many developed countries are not handling live poultries
directly.
