Talk nonsense.
There is nothing in this world or in our solar system that is capable of reverting a declining trend in having these hard drive storages from getting cheaper by the day.
Why?
Because of VIRTUAL STORAGE.
From Tencent (Wechat) declaring free 10 Gb of storage, to Hotmail to Dropbox to yahoo mail to Google to the tens or even hundreds of apps where users can upload pics and vids to these platforms, and access them from any part of the world, and all the more to the ever-expanding byte sizes of handphones and laptops, why would someone wants to carry a hard disk storage and walks around?
The way this hard disk storage are dying are just like how CDs falter and fade away into the tides of human history, when the moment digital sounds/ music are made possible to be stored by the thousands in number.
Yah, store in dropbox in social media. Then all your privacy gone.
The best you store your financial account there and let hackers hack.
babe babe
Also all these public cloud no need to buy storage to store your files meh? To you is virtual storage, to these public cloud is actual storage. You ask around the company what is their harddisk requirements? Email with attachment of files grow exponentially - all these no need disk storage meh? Also 10GB of storage is no big deal. BTW what is the storage requirement for a hour long movie of HD DVD video mpeg? at least few hundred MB - and 10 GB will soon finish.Soulranger babe
The ONLY real function of disk storage is for storing videos.Pictures - online apps like Flickr or Dropbox, which is MORE THAN ENOUGH for any user to save his/ her picsMusics/ songs - handphones/ laptops/ tablets, not forgetting MP3 players, are MORE THAN ENOUGH to let any normal user to keep his/ her songs.Documents - Hotmail, Yahoo or Google, and Dropbox, MORE THAN ENOUGH to let common users to upload and save them for eternity, not to mention instant access in any part of the world.Videos...save in laptops, tablets and home PCs, not enough?Whoever declares any type of this storage is not enough must be a hardcore user. All other types of users are practically using these apps and programmes with MORE THAN ENOUGH free space.Hack? What kind of photos are you taking to be afraid of 'hackers' gaining unauthorised access? You a good friend Edison Chen is it?babe Soulranger
I see - your profile, your documents, your family members, your friends, your hobbies etc - will be in full view in the Internet.Your confidentiality, your work, your associates, your privacy, --- can be fully profile and track. Good luck to you.I guess you also store your corporate documents, pricing, company confidential info. , customer data in the Internet as well. Good luck to your company if they lose their business.Soulranger babe
Why do you keep yakking on 'confidentiality'?From Hotmail to Yahoo, which you CAN upload pics and let them stay there, to Dropbox to Flickr, ALL are password-accessibility.Meaning: you NEED to have the correct passwords to gain access to them.Your reply simply shows how dumb and clueless you are.Get out of your room and start getting in touch with the real world."I guess you also store your corporate documents, pricing, company confidential info. , customer data in the Internet as well. Good luck to your company if they lose their business."Dumb reply. Period.babe Soulranger
The following statement best describe you:-
“ 鸟子不懂 elastic”
Talk so big.
You mention everything are password access (thus everything is safe) – do you know that almost all social media userid and password have been stolen recently – more than hundred thousand of userid and password have been compromise.Compromise of so many userid and passwords of such scale – means that Directory Services database have been compromised, copied and stolen. As not all userid and passwords of all of these social media sites are stolen – except the few hundred thousands userid and passwords are compromised – it look like only a section or a few section of the Directory Service replica have been stolen – that cut across the social media sites (not the entire Directory Services). And let me tell you something - Directory Services not only keep your userid and password - it include all your entire profile and all your personal information. You could be one of them that got compromised and all your data are stolen.Let see who has the last laugh - you or the hackers.Meanwhile - let hear this :-hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha......
