I will not
comment on “challenge the government”, “challenge your teachers“– because
we are living in a mundane world.
I will however like to comment on “challenge religious
leader” – & will prefer to change it to “do not take everything in face
value of what the religious leader tell us” as even the Buddha say :- “Do not
take my discourse everything in face value.” Understand the underlying message
& not what is express in face value.
Use our heart and mind to verify what is expounded is true.
Use our experiences to check and verify what we learn and
practice is correct.
Learn from the experiences of many learned people and make
adjustment along the way.
Use science, technology, math, psychology, medicine, empirical
evidence, statistics, occurrence of events etc to do a check and balance on the
discourse of what is expounded is true – until we are enroute to attain the
Final Enlightenment.
Buddha want to convey the message that each and every one is
a potential Buddha – of Equal Omniscience, Equal OmniBenevolence, Equal
Self-less (minus OmniPotent) like Him.
But however, Buddha do expresss that Practitioners of Dharma
should observe the Universal Law of Karma – even though they are free to do
“trial and error” = which is a “check and balance” on their Path to
Enlightenment – within the framework of Universal Law of Karma. Infringe the
Universal Law of Karma – will mean eliciting sufferings from the manifestation
of negative karma.
He practice and surpassed all His Teachers that taught him.
After he attained the Highest
Heaven of Formless Heavenly Realm of Nothingness and Non-Nothingness - where He
attained the 5th Arupa Jhana - that dwell in the Sublime State of
Subconsciousness - that have eradicate the coarseness of 3 Evil Roots - He
still experience the sublime state of the 3 Evil Roots and only managed to
suppress but not eradicate the 3 evil roots of Ignorance of Universal Law,
Hatred/Anger, Greed/Attachment to Self/Ego.
He dwell in the Vastness of
Space, the depth of Universe, the encompassing of Light in Infinity & bask in the vast space of
Voidness - but He knows He still had not
eradicate the sublime subconsciousness of His 3 evil roots.
If the Buddha had obey His
highest attainment teacher at that time and refuse to experiment, conduct trial
and error further - by dwelling in Rupa Jhana Samadhi Concentration of 1
pointedness nimitta and the subequent Arupa Jhana of Voidness (through
Anapanasati) - the Buddha will not have discover Mindfulness (Vipassana) in
conjunction with Concentration - as the breakthrough in the Attainment of
Nirvana - Final Enlightenment in the eradication of the 3 evil roots ----
---- that will eradicate all
stray thoughts anchor on Ego/Self, fuel by the 3 evil roots - and all Karma
stops - No Birth, No Death - Eternal Peace and Nirvana Bliss.
Amitabha Buddha, when He was
a Boddhisattva, learn from all countless Buddhas from all 10 directions and
through His Jhana Power, visit all the Purelands of countless Buddhas to learn
how the various Buddhas attain their Enlightenment, what Mahayana Bodhi Vows
they made and how they build their respective Pureland.
Based on what He has has
learned from the countless Buddhas, He express His Visions as Boddhisattva what
He intend to do to liberate all sentinent beings.
As Boddhisattva, Amitabha
Buddha at that time is a disciples of all countless Buddhas.
But through the experience He
learned from all countless Buddhas - He made His Mahayana Bodhi Vows, His
future Pureland and His Approaches in liberating sentinent beings that will far
surpass all countless Buddhas - All His Masters.
(Note
:- Even though Amitabha Buddha surpass all countless Buddhas, His Masters - in
all aspects of Mahayana Bodhi Vows, building of His future Pureland and His
Approaches in liberating sentinent beings - Amitabha Buddha Attainment of
Nirvana is equivalent to all countless Buddhas in Equal OmniScience, Equal
OmniBenevolence and Equal Self-Less (OmniPresence).
