In retrospect, with the advent of tablets, smartphones, iWears
and phablets – more and more consumers are storing their data, video, images etc into public cloud and social media.

At the same time, Enterprise and business will also see a growth
in storage requirements – as people will likely to attach large files with attachment such as videos, images, data via corporate email. And with more IT savy business people, the digital storage will grow.

Look like thumbdrive may still be required but dropping in
demand if people store their files in dropbox.

Portable harddisk to store private data may still be required
but dropping in demand if people store their files in dropbox even for confidential data?

So look like higher premium disk storage for business and
enterprise will become higher in demand while harddisk for notebook, PCs, portable harddisk and thumbdrive will see dwindling in demand.

So for high premium disk for fiber channel SAN, NAS, iSCSi, FCOE
such as :-
- FC disk
- SAS disk
- SSD disk
- And even SATA disk will see increase in demand.

For Hadoop storage for social media like :-
- SAS disk
- SSD disk
- SATA disk will see increase in demand.

With exponential growth in Enterprise storage – as tablets,
smartphones, phablets, iWear want to do a fast access in public cloud for their files, IOPS for fast access will become extremely important.
