Why China Government don't order PLA to intervene - as HK Police are over-stretched?

(1) CCP cannot intervene into HK - without facing an international sanction on both HK and China - that will have far more severe economic impact on both China and HK.

(2) Unless HK sovereignty is threatened - CCP will not intervene.

(1) Else PLA in HK with about 12,000 troops (half of it are 武警 with Armor Personnel Vehicles) - will have intervened - who will do a much better job as they are much better equipped.

(2) Why PLA in HK keep very still - even when China Liaison Office and PLA HQ has been petrol bomb, provoke by desecrating its emblem, China flag are stomped on?

(3) It is because PLA in HK is under strict order from CCP to let HK Police do the job - that may jeopardised the ongoing US-China trade talk and the Democracy Act hanging by the US Congress if PLA intervened. (If sanction are imposed, HK as financial hub that attract US$1.5 trillion from foriegn investors will be threatened. Many China business solicit foreign funds through HK as foreign funds are attracted by HK independent judicial system, free internet, free movement of fund)

(4) Unless HK Sovereignty are threatened - whereby HK is overrun by the HK protestors and declare independence or there are total lost of control when HK police are overrun or HK Government are overrun by HK protestors --- then PLA will have no choice but interven with full force.

(1) CCP has more far sighted thinking :-

(a) The Basic Law provide "1 Country 2 System" - and CCP will adhere to it.

(b) HK is not alone - as Macau is watching what CCP is doing to HK - because Macau is also guarantee under the "1 Country 2 System" - and CCP is careful not to rock the boat - and trigger Macau to do the same like HK.

(c) CCP in long run - want to entice Taiwan with the "1 Country 2 System" concept --- and is not eager to breach its promise - as Taiwan are eyeing how CCP run HK and Macau with this concept.

(d) If CCP is unable to make "1 Country 2 System" works - CCP will have a harder time to ensure peaceful reunification with Taiwan. Cross-strait war will become imperative if "1 Country 2 System" fails.

--- that is why even though PLA will do a neat job by quelling the HK unrest - they cannot do so and have to rely on HK Police to do the job - because the consequences of PLA intervening will have far-reaching consequences - that will impact China, HK, Macau, Taiwan -- and Asia Pacific  economically as a whole.

（3）這是因為中國人民解放軍在香港嚴格按照中共的命令，讓香港警察來完成這項工作，如果解放軍介入，這可能會危害正在進行的中美貿易談判和美國國會吊銷的《民主法》。 （如果實施制裁，香港將成為吸引外國投資者1.5萬億美元資金的金融樞紐。由於外國資金受到香港獨立司法制度，自由互聯網，資金自由流動的吸引，許多中國企業通過香港招募外國資金）

（4）除非受到香港主權的威脅-當香港示威者超支並宣布獨立或在香港警察超支或香港政府被香港示威者超支時完全失去控制權-否則解放軍將別無選擇全力干預。

（1）中共的眼光更遠：

（a）《基本法》規定了“一國二制”，中共將遵守。

（b）香港並不孤單-澳門正在觀察中共對香港的所作所為-因為澳門在“一國二制”下也得到保證-中共小心不要搖搖欲墜-觸發澳門也這樣做像香港

（c）中共從長遠來看-希望以“一國兩制”的概念來吸引台灣-並且不急於違背其諾言-因為台灣正在關注中共如何以這一概念在香港和澳門經營。

（d）如果中共無法進行“一國二制”，中共將很難確保與台灣的和平統一。如果“一國兩制”失敗，兩岸戰爭勢在必行。

---這就是為什麼即使解放軍將通過鎮壓香港動亂來做一個整潔的工作-他們也不能這樣做，而不得不依靠香港警察來完成這項工作-因為解放軍干預的後果將產生深遠的影響-將從整體上對中國，香港，澳門，台灣和亞太地區產生影響。
