    (1) HK School is breeding and imparting all the wrong values to their students.

    (2) Participating in politics in such a young age without understanding the complexity of politics is wrong.

    (3) Undertaking violent activities and even attempting murder of police - is extremely wrong and yet the school instead of rebuking such actions - are actively condoning his actions and emboldening such actions.

    (4) HK schools educationists are finished ! And there go the future of HK young.

last time singapore also got chinese middle school chewren riots in the late 50s. if you get a chance to talk to one of these old foggies, they will still thing they are right to do what they do then.
now
(1) Then those who committed violent acts should pay the price for it.

(2) Karma is always fair.
A person do wrong - will elicit bad karma.
A person who do good - will elicit good karma.

now
(1) Students go to school to acquire knowledge.

(2) Students go to school to learn about the right moral values.

(3) Students don't go to school to involve in politics that are manipulated by "bad actors" - local and foreign.
The politics are too complex for these students to comprehend.

(4) Students don't go to schools to learn how to attempt murder, injured others, looting, pillaging, plundering, beating innocent people till sustain serious injuries, burning, vandalising, throwing petrol bombs, throwing acid, rioting and many other crimes.

(5) If schools, principals, teachers, educationalists, guardians, parents - are not able to educate and bring correct moral values to these students --- the whole young HK generations are finished ---- because their minds and hearts are filled with violence, hatred and destruction.

(6) How are they not different from ISIS radicals - who are full of negative values that are only bent on destruction, injuries and death?

now
(1) And some US senators are actively promoting their so called "liberal democracy" - that advocate protest, unrest, violent, chaos, anarchy to the peaceful Society.

(2) And HK got to be careful with such foreign actors - who don't have "good heart" --- as the more chaotic HK is, the more HK create problem to China ---- in the hope they can break China --- it will achieve their aim of subverting China and HK ---- so that "US will be great again" --- at the expense of China and HK.

(3) Liberal democracy has been advocated by such bad actors --- to create havoc in many Countries --- and HK people are easily aroused by such ideologies at the expense of bringing unrest to their city.

The pupil is wrong if he did it intentionally, however, the police have to charged those pro-beijing thugs at Yuen Long for causing serious bodily harm too, to be fair, why only a lighter charge o unlawful assembly? Is the hk/beijing led govt. following the rule of law or abuse of power? That is what the citizens want to know.

It is sad that this school has to defend its student who has committed such a grave crime. It shows only how the education in Hong Kong is so upside down in their value.

    Charge him as an adult.

It’s 1 thing to protest/riot, and it’s another thing to harm another human; especially that act that can potentially kill someone.

No need to sack him. Just jail him for life for attempted murder and also as a warning to others who are thinking of committing such brutal acts.

Play compassion on such violence student? He deserves to be in prison even life sentence for intentionally hurt the police and stopped him form carrying out his duties. His parents should agreed to whatever the court is deemed right to punish them. It is justice. You mean no justice and laws in HK anymore? The people all gone lawlessness? So Sad.

Great job HK school, teachers n principles. You're have taught yr students well. 18 years should be studying hard for their future so can contribute to HK but instead get into violent protests. What are they protesting.?
