    • "It's no longer possible to get 100,000 people to come out," he said. The idea of protesting in small, diffuse groups was in part aimed at complicating policing efforts, Tang added. -- (1) There is no need for Police to appear everywhere. (2) Police just need to concentrate on a few - where radical protestors congregate to vandalise, beat people or commit atrocious crime - to arrest them. (3) When more and more concentrated arrest are made - soon these radical protestors will be depleted.

      • "One rioter used a sharp-edged object to slash the officer’s neck from behind," it said. The injured officer was taken to hospital and two people were arrested. -- (1) The arrested slashers should be charged with attempted murder.

    • "popped up out of nowhere, vandalizing stores, blocking traffic with makeshift barricades and spraying protest graffiti, often holding up umbrellas to shield their activities from view..." Sooooo, who exactly are the GOOD GUYS here????????? I'm having a little trouble distinguishing between these kids being hoodlums as opposed to 'on the right side of history'. Sooooo, if the above are what you call, people fighting an evil regime......then what does this make the police, whom have been extremely restrained, in their dealings with protesters????????

    • In terms of professionalism, restraint and resilience, the HK Police outperform every other nation in the world. They should be nominated for the Nobel Prize.

    • HK police to adopt new strategy. HK violent rioters assume that HK police cannot possibly arrest them all wearing masks. Wrong. HKCE to impose State of Emergency. HK police will arrest groups of rioters beginning with a few prison trucks. The HK cviolent rioters will be transported directly into nearby Guangdong prisons to await their trial. Over the next few months everyday 30 truckloads will be transported to main land China prisons. China has a lot of land and surely can accommodate all the HK violent rioters in the prisons. When HK violent rioters realise this is not funny anymore, they won't be tempted to riot, even if US/UK/Taiwan mob inciters increase the pay packet. This is the most humane thing that HK police can do, instead of opening fire at anyone wearing a rioter mask that is open defiance of the anti-mask law.
