Lee Hsien Loong is 'flip-flopping' over demolition of Oxley Road house: Hsien Yang

However, Mr Lee said in a post on Facebook that "Wei Ling and I never had any objection to Lee Hsien Loong receiving an equal share of the estate. We object to Lee Hsien Loong's flip-flopping about Lee Kuan Yew's demolition wish".
"We asked a simple question, that he has refused to answer for a week: Was our father, Lee Kuan Yew, unwavering in his demolition wish? Yes or no?"

As an independent observer, the following is observed :-
Mr Lee KY flip flop in his Will - on the "demolition".
- His 1st will - say demolish.
- He make a video expressing his wish to demolish.
- However Subsequent Wills - he remove the "demolish clause".
- All the above Will is make by Lee & Lee.
- But last Will, the "demolish clause" is reinserted - and the last Will is not make by Lee & Lee.
As independent observer, I guess - Natutally, PM will also flip flop after discovering the "flip-flop" will.
As a son,
- Upon seeing the last Will - will naturally agree to "demolish".
- But after discovering the previous Will - the "demolish clause" were removed but mysteriously appear in the last Will.
- Thus when question by Cabinet Committee - naturally will raise this doubt.
--- So it should not be too difficult to explain why PM "flip-flop" - because of the "flip-flop will".

On the hindsight, as observe :-
PM is wearing double hat.
- As a son, naturally he will abide by the Will of his father. Thus he agree to "demolish" when the last Will is read out to him.
- But he will become suspicious when he realise the previous Wills - remove the "demolish clause" - and suddenly why it reappear in the last Will - will raise doubt upon investigation.
- Wearing the other hat as a PM - he will have to express his opinion based on "National Interest" - that benefit the lives of the entire Nation, all the Singaporeans.
- What he express - may be different from a private capacity - as the Oxley House has historical national heritage significance.
- Thus this may also not too difficult to explain why "flip-flop" - because the PM is wearing double hat.
(Note :- as executors of the will, the siblings are acting on what is stated in the Will.
As a son and PM wearing double hat - it will not be too difficult to explain why the PM say things in private and why PM say things of National Importance - may be different.
Thus - the siblings raising the issue of "losing confidence in leadership" - is a very heavy, serious and damaging statement.
Because it not only impact - the PM himself, it will also impact :-
(1) the Cabinet - leadership for the whole nation
(2) the impact on the lives of all Singaporeans
(3) how foreign Countries view Singapore and Singapore leadership.
(4) Singapore is now facing very challenging time in Economic and Security - and cannot be constantly distracted by private issue.

Thus it is difficult to understand ==== why the siblings has so much "ill-feelings" about the "flip flop" ------ because it is not difficult to understand - a "flip-flop will" - will naturally lead to a "flip-flop responses".
