After Trump shoutout on climate, Pittsburgh hits back

Ivan Couronne
"I was elected to represent the citizens of Pittsburgh, not Paris," the president declared in the Rose Garden as he announced the United States was backing out of the Paris Agreement because it did not put "America first."
Peduto said he believes Trump was likely imagining "Pittsburgh maybe 40 years ago, Pittsburgh when it was still a global center for steel production and manufacturing. But that era ended in the 1970s."
Regardless of Trump's declaration, the mayor of this Democratic city says it will pursue the Paris climate goals on a local level, investing in sustainable construction and modern public transportation.

It is a great shame and disgraceful that Trump is telling lies that Pittisburgh is voting him - to restart the coal production which happen in 1960s and 1970s.

It is not true based on the testimony of the Mayor and the residents there and even if it is true, Trump is unfit to be a President - who by walking out of the Paris climate agreement - is like moving US back from 2017s into the 1960s or 1970s.

Wonder why US voters - vote in such a sick President surrounded by some of his very sick-minded man - to make decisions and policies based on false information and lies.

Trump has bring disgraced and shame to US and is bringing down US reputation worldwide.
