The best scenario is that China can successfully persuade N Korea to denuclearise and negotiate for a nuclear deal.
Else N Korea will be mounting nuclear warhead and will use it one day.

Japan must deploy the capabilities to intercept the N Korea missiles and even remove the missile platform at the base or mobile launchers ---- if under the worst scenario N Korea refused to budge and US decide a pre-emptive strike on N Korea nuclear facilities.

And the abilities to jam the N Korea missile guidance system to render them unusable will also be a plus.

But honestly, a war breaking out is very likely - looking at the response of N Korea - who is not budging an inch.
