Whatsapp used very secured security for end-to-end messages between 2 communicating parties.
Public keys (256 bits) to encrypt or decrypt send message and private key to decrypt or encrypt received message using AES.
Also one time session key for each send message.
Also message are not stored in server.
Very hard to break the key to see the content of the encrypted message.
