Both have access to big online consumer market.

In addition both Temasek Holdings has invested in Lazada and Alibaba and Alibaba has also invested in Lazada - this will be a mutually beneficial investment.

Singapore SMEs are also encourage to sell its products through Lazada.

And Lazada strict compliance to non-fake goods will also be a catalyst to help Alibaba to clean up fake goods in its online offerings.

In a long run, think this digital platform for online retail offerings ---- will propel a promising sector for both Singapore and China digital economy.
