US should try out its F35A in Iraq and Syria on ISIS - to test its operational readiness and iron out all its potential teething problem.

Then it will be more combat-ready.

Under the stress of combat and operational demand, it will bring out the best of F-35A and identify weaknesses ---- so that improvement can be made to make F-35A the true 5th Generation Fighter.

F35 is said to be put to test and has done better than SuperHornet F-18 and Eurofighter Typhoon ---- in terms of mission effectiveness, survivability etc.

And the F35B vertical landing - very cool, especially good for confine space --- can take off and land on a field or a road --- don't even need an airfield.

Very good in real combat situation where airfield will be targeted.

Also like the way F35B hover in the air like Apache helicopter and fired away the 3,000 rounds canon like Apache ----- very good for ground support and even dogfight --- when air-to-air missiles have been used up.
