The lifespan of mosquitoes are very short - about 2 weeks.
Thus to prevent dengue fever, zika and mosquitoes related diseases :-
(1) Prevent mosquitoes lay eggs or hatching eggs.
(2) Eradicate all female mosquitoes or wait out for female mosquitoes to die a natural death within 2 weeks (prevent them from sucking blood and breeding).
If successful to do the above 2, there will be no dengue fever, zika and mosquitoes related diseases.
But easier say then done.
The introduction of male mosquito that can prevent female mosquitoes eggs from hatching ---- if successful will do precisely the above 2.
Only then can mosquitoes threat be greatly reduced and eradicated.

But 1 female mosquito lay 100 eggs at one time. 3 times in her life span --- 300 eggs.
Even with superb wiping out of all female mosquitoes and kill all the eggs.
Just one bunch of 100 eggs that is not detected - will have produced 100 female mosquitoes when hatch.
Thus the introduction of male mosquitoes to mate with female mosquitoes - where eggs produce will not hatch ---- is a genocide method to eradicate the mosquito menace once and for all.
