Seems like a consortium of Cloud & OS, tablets Enterprise vendors are pitting against Microsoft Enterprise CloudOS & Windows 8, tablets headon.

(1) Cloud Platform - VMware vCloud Director, vCloud Orchestrator, vCloud Operation Manager, VMware Chargeback, NSX platform, ESXi, vSphere virtualisation vs Microsoft CloudOS, MSC (Microsoft Service Centre).

(2) Operating System Platform - Mac, Apple iOS, Android, Linux, Unix, VMware bare metal, VMs vs Microsoft Windows 8, 8.1

(3) VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) - VMware VDI, Citrix thinclient vs Microsoft VDI.

(4) BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) - VMware VDI, BYOD, Symantec BYOD vs Microsoft BYOD.

(5) Tablets - Apple iPad, Android tablets vs Miecrsoft tablets.
