Websites of 13 schools defaced, matter under police investigation

Installing Critical System Protection will have prevented the web defacement.

Critical System Protection (CSP) can be configured to continually monitor web site pages and compare against approved pages to detect web site defacement.
Unapproved write to the web server will be forbidden by the Critical System Protection through webserver prevention policy – the web page cannot be defaced.
The CSP is hidden, secured and protected from Internet public access.

CSP also has the capability of effecting Configuration Control - whereby any unapproved configuration changes not registered with CSP cannot effect changes to the web server and application server.

The approved configuration are locked down. Unapproved configurations will trigger alerts and changes cannot be written and override the approved configuration.
Thus no way for hackers to deface the web pages.
CSP can be designed for special protection - don't want to say how this is designed and hosted. Ha Ha...
