Pre-school chain Carpe Diem's website hacked

There are millions of hackers out there coming from all directions.

The defenders only a few versus millions of hackers.

So how does the defenders defend?

Draw them into a chokepoints (restrict to one or 2 for redundancy).

Protect, monitor, defend the chokepoint – it become defensible – the only fear is to flood or congest the chokepoint so that the pipe is no longer usable.

But Telco will channel anomaly or DDOS traffic into a “black hole” via the Internet Clean Pipe.

So the traffic that go into the chokepoint become defensible and manageable.

So the fear now is backdoors - the trick is to lock out all the backdoors.
