Seems like N Korea has a gunho instinct with suicidal tendency bent on provoking a more superior force that it has no way to win and jeopardising all its people lives - in this showdown.
N Korea will need to come to its sense that only dialogue on denuclearisation in exchange for economic benefits and political benefits can end the crisis.
No brandishing its immature nuclear missiles and threaten to used it or worst used it - with no chance of winning.

How do N Korea think it will win this war - when US has overwhelming reach into N Korea - where N Korea can barely touch US so far away?
It is more like gungo cry with no tangible result --- but instead inviting overwhelming force to land on N Korea and wipe it out.
N Korea is more like playing roulette suicide - where N Korea has no chance to win.
If N Korea knowing that it will sure perish - just wonder what is the psychological push that make N Korea leader take such suicidal path?

The N Koreans know they have found possibly the best insurance against being invaded by a superpower. Now everybody knows. Hope other small countries don't quickly do the same.

Jurupanah Shootarrows - N Korea does not know how to integrate with the World Economies and work with foreign Countries for mutual benefits and prosperity.
Choosing nuclear is not the best insurance - in fact it is the most potent suicide vest that will kill itself and others - but will not be able to hurt the Superpower that attack it.
