Self-styled "godman".......

Godman - means "half god", "half man" - or "half divinity or supramundane", "half mundane".
In other words, godman possess half supramundane consciousness (consciousness not possess by any mundane human) and half human consciousness (known by man and by psychologists and psychiatrists).
In Buddhism, the following are considered "half supramundane", "half mundane human" :-
(1) 1st Jhana Samadhi
(2) 2nd Jhana Samadhi
(3) 3rd Jhana Samadhi
(4) 4th Jhana Samadhi
(5) 5th Arupa Jhana Samadhi
(6) Sotapanna
(7) Sakadagami
(9) Anagami
(10) Arahat
(11) Pacceka Buddha
(12) Bodhisattva
(13) Buddha

To qualify as true "godman" or "half supramundane, half mundane human" ---- it must possess 2 holy objectives :-
(1) Self-Salvation
(2) Salvation of Others
---- and this must come from the Heart, and internalise.

Fame, Power, Self-indulgence, obsessed with sensual desires for self-gratification at the expense of others - will degrade the "godman".
