Li Sheng Wu is lucky to be born in a privileged family endowed with wealth and power.
But instead of using his position to advance the interest of Singapore or contribute to the improvement of Singapore - instead make destructive criticisms and make use of by foreign agencies to attack Singapore and the Singapore system.

Those who suffer are Singaporeans and not Li Sheng Wu - who is enjoying his life overseas.

Ricky Lim is lucky to be born with a computer endowed with internet connectivity and a keyboard.
But instead of using the internet to advance meaningful discussion or contribute to the sharing of ideas - instead make anonymous criticisms and make use of by foreign social media sites to post comments on a CNA social plugin.

Those who suffer are the people who wasted time reading this comment and not Ricky Lim - who is enjoying a life of anonymity.

Yi Liang Lyl - so you are supporting Li Sheng Wu's cause and agree with his statement and foreign agencies press release on Singapore's Courts?

You study Bachelor of Law in NUS.
I presume you will be familiar with Law on defamation and slander and contempt of Court.

Presumably, you will practise as lawyer when you graduate.

You got to be careful what you write and what you say.

You are in the same social medium platform as your dear friend Li Sheng Wu.
He is in a private domain.

You are out in the public domain.

Let see how are you going to respond.

NUS has a code of conduct - and i believe you have read and sign on it right?

And i believe your parents want you to be a useful member of the society - and not join the club of the privilieged members - but in turn abuse your privilieged position - to make destructive criticisms on the system that feed you.

Ricky Lim No I just really despise people who hide behind anonymous accounts. I have no views, political or otherwise on this suit. However I do hold views on individuals who comment online on the presumption that what they are saying is meaningful, or makes credible sense.

In your case, that presumption is wrong.

Yi Liang Lyl - i couldn't care less whether you despise who is who.
But you are definitely childish and not befitting that of a professional that you aspire to do.

Singaporeans are suffering due to a facebook post?

Oh how vulnerable are we.

Teo Huai Wei Edmund - a facebook post by a pubic figure who carry weight that advance the interest of foreign agencies - and discredit the Court System - leading to lost in public confidence on the administration of justice - and as a result overtime erode the system in Singapore.

Isn't this a systematic sabotage of Singapore?
Singaporeans will not suffer because of this?

Once the credibility and integrity of the system is smeared - and people start losing confidence in the system --- the system will crumble.
And those who support this cause - are in fact aiding saboteurs to bring down our system - causing Singaporeans to suffer from the consequences.

You think this is not serious?

Singapore has just been awarded by a UN body as International Arbitration and Mediation Centre.

We don't need some public figure who has axed to grind to sabo it - by discrediting our Court System - and go unchallenged.

And this International Courts make us an International hubs to handle international disputes - that will help to provide jobs for our lawyers (those non-childish ones) and expand our market and spaces for the legal sectors - beyond our small domestic legal market.

Those who have axed to grind plus childish accomplice (with no foresight) - instead of making contribution to Singapore - are actively bringing the legal system down and sabo the Singaporeans who are trying to secure jobs.

Isn't this causing sufferings to Singaporeans?

So it doesn't means those with prestigious scholars from Ivy League U or highly educated graduates from top U - possess the Wisdom.

Wisdom does not equate with High Education.

Some people without good education have greater Wisdom that those highly educated ones.

Ricky Lim he did not post in public domain, someone posted his post in a private setting mode, that can only means the person who posted it to public domain is accessing his facebook post, could be doing it illegally, private mode can only be seeing by friends only,so the logic his friend will not post them on public ,so the one doing it has access to his private mode settings is spying on his account is most likely to be the case..so find the person who posted the first post to public than will know who that person works for and trace his agenda.

Nagan Nagan - when a public figure post even to a few friends that is detrimental to Singapore, it will also cause damage. A defamation whether through libel or slander make in private space or public space is still a defamation even though the weight of the damage could be different.

Because it will still spread around like rumor with termite effects. You can see the effects now.

Why can't he with privileged position think of how to make Singapore better instead of consistently attacking Singapore and try to pull its systems down. Isn't what he is doing contradict what his grandfather try to do for Singapore in his whole life?

Good Singaporeans like his grandfather will not let anyone destroy Singapore and its people that Singaporeans so painfully built and dwell in.

Nagan Nagan, I'm not in a position to comment, but can't help wondering who is the 'someone'? Why nobody is asking that?

Yi Liang Lyl , agreed. People who post under anonymous accounts... why bother if you don't even dare take responsibility for your own postings
