India and China agree to end border standoff

India and China have agreed to an "expeditious disengagement" of troops in a disputed border area where their soldiers have been locked in a stand-off for more than two months, India's foreign ministry said on Monday.

Standoff by both Countries are not conducive for Asia Pacific peace.
It will also hurt the RCEP trade initiatives where both are big players of the trade initiative.

Why don't both sides withdraw 10 km away from the disputed land and calm down.

This will have cease the standoff.
