What US does not appreciate is that it is a great privilege to station US troops and weapons in other people's country.

It's best for South Korea to increase the size of its armed forces and to develop its arms industry rather than pay the US such huge sum of money. At least, the money is spent internally in South Korea generating jobs and employment and maybe make some money selling arms.

The problem with S Korea is that they do not have even a decent military force. Most conscripts look more like sissy boys or K-pop group. S Korea continue to be slack in their defense and depend on US for every instructions and planning.
