If US walk away from Globalisation, Trade and Investment and not engaging the World for "Win-Win outcome" --- many US trade partners will engage more tightly and broadly with China.

Overtime, US will start to lose influence over her business partners and China will grow stronger.

And eventually US will lose its SuperPower status - and China will overshadow US where US influence will become to falter and become non-significance in the Global market.

  US will already have lose this influence by backing out of TPP.
  
  The moment China RCEP and FTAPP is set in motion and are ratified - all RCEP members will have anchor with China and US influence will become less significant.

    As Trump vows to focus on American interests, Europe is increasingly pre-occupied with its own troubles, from Brexit and militant attacks to the string of elections this year in which anti-globalisation populists could score gains.

      Trade tariffs
      
      Both TPP and TTIP look set to crumble early in Trump’s presidency, but his planned use of high trade tariffs may be harder to enact – especially if he continues to anger key trading partners.
      In the longer term, restricted trade will increase goods prices, which would in turn lead to inflation. However, restricting free trade may well harm key businesses in both the US and abroad before that happens.

        If Trump policy is to put "interest for Americans and Americans only -- and care less about the World" --- the World will also care less about US ---- and in fact will look for another Big Brother - who will want to forge or try to forge a "Win-Win outcome".

  SINGAPORE: China's Vice Foreign Minister Liu Zhenmin met Singapore's Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs Chee Wee Kiong in Singapore on Tuesday (Jan 17) and discussed upcoming bilateral exchanges such as the Joint Council for Bilateral Cooperation to be held next month, and the China-Singapore Forum on Leadership later this year.
  
  According to a post on the website of Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), the two co-chaired the 10th Bilateral Consultations between the Singapore and Chinese foreign ministries.
  
  During their meeting, Mr Chee and Mr Liu "reviewed the longstanding and multi-faceted cooperation between Singapore and China".
  
  MFA added the two sides noted that their high-level exchanges were maintained in 2016, including Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong's meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the G20 Summit in Hangzhou and with Premier Li Keqiang at the ASEAN Summit in Vientiane.

  Mr Liu and Mr Chee reviewed the good progress of the two sides' government-to-government projects, including the latest Chongqing Connectivity Initiative, MFA said.
  
  Mr Chee also expressed Singapore's support for China's "One Belt, One Road" initiative - a new area of collaboration which would further build upon Singapore and China's substantive bilateral ties, MFA added.
  
  Both sides also discussed strengthening ASEAN-China relations and connectivity, "including synergies between the Master Plan for ASEAN Connectivity 2025 and the 'Belt and Road' initiative".
  
  They also requested that the Singapore Tourism Board and China National Tourist Administration "collaborate and discuss concrete plans to promote tourism between ASEAN and China", as part of the ASEAN-China Year of Tourism Cooperation in 2017.

    Good to see that Singapore and China has patched up and resume close relationship - that will culminate into high-level Leadership dialogue.
    
    In this era of Protectionism, all the more Asia Pacific should close rank - to promote Business, Trade, Investment - for Prosperity.
    
    But this must be done in the context of "Inclusiveness" - with "Win-Win outcome" between Countries - as well as benefiting every people in each Countries.
